Here are my three jeers of the week.
- The weather yesterday in Cleveland. They say that if you like the weather in my hometown, wait five minutes. That proved all too true unfortunately last night. At least the Indians won.
- The staggering amount of commercials during the NASCAR on NBC broadcast on Saturday at Daytona, and then not breaking from commercial late in the race when Tony Stewart wrecked. Last but not least, NBC signing off after interviewing the winner. Last year, when the race ended at 3am, they interview up to at least 3rd place.
- The people on 4th of July tweeting out that #AmericaWasNeverGreat. Do you realize that by tweeting that, it’s a slap in the face to those brave men and women who died just so that you could have the right to say that? America is far from perfect, but it’s a lot better than other places, which can celebrate their independence day without a stupid, unpatriotic hashtag. I, for one, am proud to be an American, no matter what the circumstances.
